A well-known luxury retailer is seeking to recruit an Ecommerce Assistant. Reporting to the Ecommerce Manager you will be responsible for supporting the ecommerce team in all operational and production aspects of the business, ensuring all digital activities and supporting administrative processes are followed and delivered appropriately according to the critical path.

Key duties include:
· Being accountable for the launch schedule of products to the website, working with internal and external teams to collate product information, imagery and copy against a time critical schedule.
· Liaising with content, marketing and merchandise teams to visually merchandise categories based on performance and planned activity.
· Responsible for making sure product information and images are correct through daily audits and responding to any feedback from the business.
· Co-ordinating with internal teams to upload product catalogue data including, meta data and attributes, whilst optimising for the best customer journey.
· Using the content management system to update website content when required.
· Ensuring website copy and translations are maintained.

The successful candidate will have:
· Experience within an ecommerce team as a product/ecommerce assistant or coordinator preferably within the fashion retail sector.
· Experience with analytics, reporting, analysis of product and departmental performance and trading is desired but not essential, along with an ability to work cross-functionally and support key contacts within the business.
· An interest and understanding of fashion and brand retail along with a proactive approach that incorporates initiative are key.
· A personal attribute also would include a genuine willingness and eagerness to learn and support the various functions of the team and build experience within the ecommerce industry.
