Parkdean Resorts is the UKs largest holiday park business, owning and operating 73 award winning holiday parks throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. Parkdean Resorts has over 25,000 holiday homes owners, sells around 400,000 holidays and short breaks each year, and also serves in excess of 1.8 million customers annually.

Parkdean Resorts was formed in 2015 with the merger of established holiday park operators Parkdean Holidays and Park Resorts and in March 2016 Parkdean Resorts was sold by it's private equity owners to Onex Corporation, a listed Canadian private equity company in a deal valued at £1.35 billion.

As the current UK's leading Holiday Park Operator expands, we are looking to expand our technical team in the appointment of a Head of Business Intelligence. Reporting directly into the CIO, you will be responsible for liaising with key stakeholders in the business on an array of Data Projects.

As the Head of BI for Parkdean Resorts your responsibilities and characteristics we look for will include:


• Extensive data and business intelligence experience within a complex enterprise organisation
• Excellent customer relationship building skills and an ability to form relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Proven and successful experience in operating at a ‘C’ community level
• Ability to understand and relay complex data-related issues in a simple and easy to understand manner and you will also demonstrate expertise in big data technology infrastructure and environments coupled with business process architecture
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to present, negotiate, consult, influence and build credibility with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Work with business stakeholders, GDPR team, Holiday sales, IT Project team and IT security to define Parkdean BI and Data security strategy “one version of the truth”


• Deep expertise in the development of data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytical solutions
• Previously held hands-on leadership roles directly managing data and analytics teams, and driving change within a large, complex business's
• Strong expertise and technically-minded in the areas of application architecture, design, development
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices uses in Data Warehouse design and development
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Designing, developing and introducing service standards, processes and governance
• Promoting, educating and growing BI, data analysis and visualisation services
• Advising and delivering new technologies that will enhance data delivery
• A broad technical skill set with previous hands on expertise in both traditional and unstructured data environments, BI stacks, and ETL tools & processes
• Specifying and implementing a lean, enterprise level MDM
