We’re looking for an experienced Event Operations Manager professional with proven P&L experience.

The role:

As Senior Operations Manager, you’ll be managing a team and running a number of international events. This is about inspiring your team to create the best experience possible in the industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning all ops and logistics and working hand in hand with the Event Director, Content Managers and Sales Director
  • Preparation of the budgets and full control of the P&L
  • Manage feasibility studies for prospective new events and conferences
  • Line-management of Ops Manager and a contractor
  • Manage the ITE, CRM and Ops processes
  • Production of the exhibition manuals, conference logistics and all of the documents to assist in the smooth running of the events
  • Delivery of the quotes and implement sponsor and exhibitor agreements
  • Manage the look of the event including AV, branding and catering
  • Liaising with all external providers, venues, event management, negotiating and tendering on an ongoing basis and setting clear and concise SLAs
  • Management of all government officials, working with local governments and security agencies
  • Training and develop of your permanent and ad-hoc teams

Key requirements:

  • You’ll need proven experience of working in Event Operations having managed international Exhibitions and conferences
  • People management and development
  • Proven P&L experience, setting of budgeting initiatives across operations
  • Experience of the structural safety, rigging and stand auditing processes
