We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a family run business based on the outskirts of Colchester working in a team of six. You will be an experienced individual with a good overall understanding of finance and accounts. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with excellent time management skills.

Duties will include;
• Administer all accounts services to the business including:
• Maintaining all the company accounts using Sage Line 50V22 through to Year End
• Raise all Sales & Pro-Forma Invoices through internal RSM system
• Maintain and reconcile all bank accounts and cash flow forecasts
• Control Petty Cash transactions
• VAT quarterly return following standard Sage procedure
• Administer monthly payroll, currently 5 staff including directors
• Maintain and operate Pension Scheme through payroll
• Liaise with freight agents on import transactions, make payments of duties etc
• Maintain Stock Control using internal system and reconciles all costs
• Assist with annual Year End Stocktake
• Assist in maintain the RSM data base of customer & sales records
• Coordinate with Sales Admin all outgoing deliveries via contract carriers
• Any other duties consistent with the role to ensure the smooth running of all accounts administration within the Company
