Our Client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant with all round accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Update bank transactions as per daily statements
• Enter receipts and payments
• Release 'on hold’ orders as payments received
• Check customer account status to authorise shipments
• Open new customer accounts; apply credit limits
• Update existing customer information as required
• Post invoicing
• Respond to queries
• Chase overdue payments; contact customers re unpaid invoices
• Banking
• Summary of factored accounts activity
• Update rate defaults and pensions
• Input overtime and enter wages
• Complete month-end account reconciliations
• Reconcile accounts
• Reconcile bank statements
• Raise invoices as required
