IT Curriculum Manager

As an Apprenticeship Provider specialising in the provision of Apprenticeships for 16-18 year olds LMPQ is seeking a Curriculum Manager to oversee the management, delivery and coordination of their L3 IT Infrastructure Technician programmes.

About LMPQ

LMPQ is an academy dedicated to providing high quality and professional apprenticeships in Information Technology. We work in partnership with employers and further education colleges to provide relevant and valuable training to develop the future generation of IT professionals.

The Role

The main responsibility of this role will be to manage and coordinate the delivery of the IT Programme across both Birmingham and Worcester.

You will report to the Operations Manager and will be expected to be responsible for the design, review, and development of the IT Curriculum. The role will involve:

- Developing and designing the IT Curriculum in line with the standards model to develop an interactive, engaging and world class curriculum

- Reviewing the curriculum as part of the company’s commitment to continuous improvement

- Ensuring the curriculum prepares learners for success in their exams and at the End Point Assessment stage

- Managing and developing relationships with Awarding Bodies

- Involvement in the creation and implementation of Quality Improvement Plans

- Managing & maintaining business values

- Coordination and/or delivery of Internal Quality Assurance (an IQA qualification is desirable)

- Developing trainers and assessors within their roles to deliver an outstanding classroom experience

The successful applicant will possess the following:

·An ability to manage tutors & assessors to uphold company standards and coach them to achieve excellent results from learners.

·Knowledge of and ability to design Microsoft MTA Programmes

·An ability to self-motivate, work effectively in both a team environment and independently (essential).

·An ability to learn new concepts quickly and a flexible approach to meet the demands of the ever changing IT industry (essential).

· Prior management experience, particularly within the education sector (desirable).

·Knowledge and experience of delivering and upholding Quality Assurance (desirable)

·An ability to work with external agencies such as Awarding Bodies and College Funding Partners (desirable)
