QC Software Specialist – Graduate Opportunity

Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now looking for a QC (Quality Control) Software Specialist to join their team in Crumlin.

Within a fast-paced and engaging environment, you’ll have the chance to increase your skill-set and help to drive the success of our client’s software.

As a QC Software Specialist, you will provide training, support and guidance to employees that sell our client’s QC software.

Our client’s quality control software is used by clinical laboratories across the globe. In this key role, you’ll ensure that representatives and distributors are able to fully utilise software, enabling them to effectively promote the application to customers.

Specifically, you will:

- Deliver in-house bespoke training to representatives and distributors of the software
- Troubleshoot any software installation, configuration and maintenance issues
- Travel to deliver training to representatives and distributors
- Carry out data analysis and interpret reports regarding technical queries
- Perform a range of administrative duties

Interested? To be considered, you will need a degree at grade 2:1 or above in a life science related discipline (or equivalent). Excellent time-management and organisational skills are also key.

As a QC Software Specialist, you’ll have great presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to learn new information quickly. You’ll also have an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.

Ideally, you’ll have an understanding of the principles of analytical diagnostics, the application of statistics and quality measures in a laboratory environment. Previous IT support, installation and/or troubleshooting experience would also be beneficial.
