Staff Nurse - Nursing Home - Bridgwater, Somerset - £16.10/hr

This staff Nurse position is with a non-profit organisation that are a leading housing, community and care provider in the UK. The staff nurse vacancy is for one of their nursing homes based in Bridgwater, Somerset. The home itself is a refurbished care home that offers specialist nursing services for just over 100 residents. These residents may need particular nursing care for individual needs such as dementia, detention under mental health act and the elderly frail.

Role Requirements as a registered nurse

  • Are a registered nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC pin
  • Have previous experience in working within elderly care
  • Prefered nursing home experience
  • Be able to complete and pass a DBS check
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Your Role as a registered nurse

  • Monitoring patients' conditions
  • Carrying out treatment plans
  • Assisting with patient needs
  • Building and maintaining healthy and professional relationships with the residents, relatives and colleagues
  • Documenting and administering medication
