An exciting opportunity to develop your fundraising career with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility has arisen in a charity for children and young people. I am looking for a Fundraising Officer to specialise in Trusts to raise funds to continue providing fostering, children's homes and a range of innovative leaving care and homelessness services across the UK & Isle of Man.

This is an exciting new role for a Fundraising Officer to help maximise on fundraised income so the charity can continue raising even more to fund their rapidly-growing services for their young people in care.

You will be responsible for producing successful fundraising bids and developing corporate social responsibility opportunities to bring in restricted and unrestricted income. You will also contribute to the charity's fundraising communications and support the writing of their bi-annual newsletter as well as having responsibility for fundraising administration.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Minimum 1 years experience of successful income generation through fundraising activity in the following areas: charitable trusts and foundations, and corporate world.

Knowledge of the fundraising environment and regulatory framework in the voluntary sector.

Excellent writing and editing skills.

Creativity, high level presentation and project management skills.

Excellent communication, networking, and strong relationship building skills.

Flexibility to travel to different services across UK
