A public sector client are currently looking for an experienced Pensions Assistant to cover Maternity.

Salary – Up to £22,000

Start Date - Immediate

Must have accurate numeric skills and experience of using Microsoft packages including Word and Excel

Main Duties
-Calculations of pension estimate and all benefit types
-Calculations of increased of specific age events eg. 55yrs, 60 yrs, 65yrs.
-Completion of payroll and payment vouchers
-Calculations of service entitlements in respect of transfers ‘in’ and ‘out’ of the pension scheme
-Preparing of monthly payroll amendments
-Completion of documentation to National Insurance Contributions Office (NICO)
-Advice on pension matters
-Contribute to maintaining the pension department’s statistics and pension records
-Contribute to annual tasks, reviews and general support to the Pensions Officer and Manager

Administration Support

-Input, retrieve and present data using a computer
-Maintain a record management system
-Photocopy, present and distribute documents
-Review retain and dispose of records and information
-Prepare and print documents using a computer
