HR/Payroll Assistant required for a our clients head office in derby. To apply for this role you should be experienced in some aspects of payroll administration as well as HR/recruitment administration. The department process fairly high volumes so being able to work at speed and manage a busy work load is pretty important.
Key activities will include - Payroll Administration, set up of new starters, calculation of a range of payments such as Mat Pay/sick pay and processing of leaver information, You will also ensure all new starter offers and contracts are sent out and returned, references are checked and employees are set up on the HR/payroll system. A very strong administrator with experience in this type of environment is ideal. Progression in to more senior HR/payroll positions within the business are available through internal progression routes for the successful candidate. You should have an understanding that confidentiality, accuracy and integrity are key attributes
