Job Title: Senior Major Gifts Manager

Location: Vauxhall, London
Salary:
up to £50k inclusive of London Allowance

As Senior Major Gifts Manager you will lead and manage a team of Major Gift fundraisers and develop key strands of the Major Gift strategy contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of a Major Gifts Team.

You will also secure and proactively manage a pool of high calibre prospects and a portfolio of major donors, trusts and key influencers. You will be personally responsible for securing six figure + gifts, identifying and initiating relationships with prospective donors, developing longer-term relationships and stewarding existing supporters.

You will work with the Head of Major Gifts & Special Events in developing a portfolio of Major Gift Products that support growth in fundraising income.

You will have significant experience of fundraising including major donor fundraising with a track record of having asked for, negotiated and secured gifts of £100K+. You will be confident in Setting and monitoring budgets and developing annual plans and have the ability to produce consistently high quality, imaginative and compelling written materials; including proposals, letters and pitches.

An experienced manager of either staff of volunteers you will have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with a variety of senior stakeholders.
