Supporting the finance department, Group Accountant, and management team by completing routine accounting and clerical tasks. Completion of basic bookkeeping and accounting duties, assisting with the preparation of budgets, maintaining reports, for the company.
Job Duties:
* Completing financial reports/management accounts on a regular basis and providing information to the operations team
* Managing company ledgers
* Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
* Completing purchase orders
* Completing bank reconciliations
* Entering financial information into appropriate software programs
* Processing business expenses
* Reporting and controlling debtors and creditors
* Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts
* Handling accruals and prepayments Coordinating internal and external audits
* Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
* VAT returns
* Statutory returns
* Managing day-to-day transactions
* Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
* Posting daily receipts
* Completing the year-end analysis
* Reviewing computer reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing errors back to their source

Skills and Qualifications:
Part qualified; Sage 200 (very desirable); Strong Bookkeeping Skills; Data Entry; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Experience in Balance Sheet Account Preparation; Detail Oriented; Organised; Timely; Competent IT Skills.
