Contracts Officer to join an Investment Firm in Edinburgh on a temporary contract paying £180 - £215 per day.

Your new role
As Contracting Officer, you will join the On-Boarding Contracting team that plays a key role in on-boarding new clients and managing change for existing clients. You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating investment management agreements and amendments to those agreements with some related ancillary documents.
Managing your own portfolio of business, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and coordinating contractual documents and managing internal stakeholders involved in the contracting process to ensure their comments are articulated through the contract.. You will also support the sales team with contractual documentation queries and will ensure all completed contractual documentation is properly filed.
What you'll need to succeed
As Contracting Officer, you will have experience of drafting contractual documentation, managing contracts and negotiating contract terms. Ideally you will have asset management or financial services experience and a relevant legal qualification.
You will have excellent attention to detail, organisation and presentation skills and will have exemplary analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
What you'll get in return
As Contracting Officer, you will receive a day rate of £180 - £215 per day (dependant on experience) and will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As this is a maternity cover role, the start date will be 05/03/18 with an end date of 15/02/19.
