Your new company
My client came into being on 1 August 2010 after merging two very well known organisations. It is the UK's only chartered professional body dedicated to educating, developing and regulating it's members based both in the UK and internationally
Your new role
To works closely with budget holders in particular the revenue earning cost centres, liaising with key decision makers within the organisation, influencing and presenting financial and management information and encompass all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
Will require a full professional accounting qualification
Good finance and non finance systems skills with an appreciation of their use within an organisation of a similar size and / or complexity of the organisation
Microsoft Excel skills to intermediate level and Microsoft Access skills to a similar level including manipulation of data in from other sources
Some SQL and / or report writing knowledge would be useful
Significant experience of report writing and data manipulation for management information purposes
Will have significant experiences of financial processes and procedure
Good communication skills both verbally and in writing as the ability to persuade, hold credibility and motivate will be critical
