Role description

Deloitte is a market leader in Global Workforce consulting, which is a key and strategic growth area for our business. You’ll work as part of a multi-discipline team of industry, technology and analytics specialists to deliver innovative transformation consulting projects to the world’s leading organisations.

Our consulting proposition aims to increase the capability of the Global Mobility function to impact business performance. As a Global Workforce Associate Director you will support the planning, scoping and delivery of major projects and labs (high impact workshops) leading and working with multi-disciplinary teams.

Deloitte addresses Global Mobility value and capability by transforming client Global Workforce functions structurally, creating and enabling more strategic roles, and improving efficiency, effectiveness and experience through innovation, tools, operations and policies.

Location

You will be based in a Deloitte London office, however travel may be required for client based projects. You may be required to spend time off-site with regional and international clients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the delivery of projects and global mobility transformation programmes including technology advisory/implementations or analytics projects. This will involve working closely with clients to develop their strategy, improve their organisation design, polices, processes, data analytics or technology.

  • Demonstrate broad strategic and practical knowledge of HR or Global Mobility Transformation projects and interventions

  • Undertake a leadership role in the management of client relationships and the wider Global Workforce group

  • Develop strong working relationships with clients by providing oversight and guidance,

  • Oversee and manage multiple work streams on multiple projects to deliver against client objectives,

  • Develop client relationships, and be renowned as a content expert within client organisations and among your peers,

  • Lead the development of best practices and tools for assessing client needs,

  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and engagement teams on HR/Global Mobility and organisation related issues/decisions,

  • Lead presentations and deliver high quality proposals to clients,

  • Lead the growth of the UK business by identifying and developing sales opportunities.

Requirements

As an individual joining Deloitte, we would expect that you possess demonstrable knowledge and proven ability to deliver in the below areas:

  • Human capital (Organisation Design, Talent Management, Change Management) and/or Global Mobility consulting experience

  • Previous Big 4 or other management consulting firm experience

  • Experience working on Global Mobility service delivery, business traveller, technology and analytics projects.

  • Strong relationship management skills with senior stakeholders

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with expertise in producing organisation-wide communications and liaising with Partners and senior leaders

  • A proven track record in analysing client issues and ability to apply experience and rationale to manage client decision-making,

  • Ability to champion initiatives internally and externally

  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience of applying innovative solutions, eg. Digital enablers or Analytics

  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, and fast-paced project environments

  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity

  • Ability to look at the bigger picture as well as have a keen eye for detail

  • Curiosity to learn about new businesses

  • Fluency in PowerPoint and Excel
