Product Marketing Manager
Macildowie Marketing are currently working with an international B2B organisation located in Nottingham to recruit a Product Marketing Manager.
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing strategic product/marketing plans that win market share and drive growth by promoting the product value within the industry, markets and customers. As the driver of the product management and product marketing process, the Product Marketing Manager will be tasked with determining market opportunity, defining product requirements, developing compelling value propositions and deploying marketing campaigns.
This position will suit candidates who have worked with technical products from a manufacturing/engineering industry and are comfortable with international travel up to 50% of the time.
As the product 'owner', the Product Market Manager will work closely with engineering and development teams to define and deliver innovative, market-leading products. This will be accomplished by coordinating all aspects of the product management process from product ideation to product launch including market opportunity analysis, pricing strategy, competitive insights and customer requirements gathering.
As the go-to-market 'expert', the Product Marketing Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, customer service and global counterparts to develop sales and marketing plans that meet revenue, profitability, brand awareness, customer satisfaction and growth objectives. This will include:
-Defining a sales and marketing strategy to build brand awareness, increase sales and pipeline and generate new growth opportunities
-Working with Corporate Marketing, Integrated Marketing and Regional/Global Marketing teams to roll-out marketing campaigns including tradeshows, events, public relations, website, asset (sales tools and collateral) development, social media, promotions and various lead generation activities
-Building relationships with marketing teams of key customers, partners and industry associations and implement joint sales and marketing activities where possible
-Identifying and assessing strategic, technology and industry partnerships including licensing opportunities
-Report marketing effectiveness by measuring revenue, pipeline and other quantifiable metrics
-Acting as a company spokesperson and work with key industry influencers to establish a thought leadership position in a specified market
*Proven track record working as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager with demonstrated success developing product strategies, bringing/launching new products to market and managing product life cycles
*Background in technical products within vertical markets
*Ability to drill down across all business areas to ensure marketing plans and ideas are qualified against the strategic road map for the Division
*Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
*Willingness to travel internationally
