The Company: I am currently working on behalf of a really successful, Chartered advice firm based in York who are looking to add an experienced financial planning administrator to join their back-office team. You will be joining a progressive, forward thinking business who are looking to expand, add-headcount, and with plans to double their adviser-base over the next 2 years they seek an ambitious administrator who is keen on personal progression to add to their growing support function.
The Role: The remit here is a very broad private wealth focused administration support role which is modelled in a team environment, supporting multiple high performing financial advisers. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide pre and post-meeting support.
- Book client meetings
- Prepare valuation reports and documentation in readiness for the meeting and proactively review client files and provide discussion points for the meeting
- Process new business liaising with Advisers, providers and third parties updating all relevant systems and ensuing correct completion of necessary documents.

The Person: The successful candidate will ideally come from an IFA/wealth management background and have exposure to supporting IFA’s/financial advisers in a technical admin capacity for the last 2/3 years (minimum). You will have knowledge across investments, pensions and protection/life cover with any tax or trust exposure a significant bonus.
