Senior Service Charge & Property Management Accounts Assistant - Southend
£22,000 - £25,000pa

An opportunity has arisen to join their busy office in Southend as a Senior Service Charge & Property Management Accounts Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a min of 2 years previous extensive experience in dealing with Service Charges and accounts. Ideally with knowledge of Qube Management Software however this is not essential as training will be given as required.
The duties are as follows:
·Post cash and cheques from cashbook onto computer system, including checking funds are due and that payment should be accepted. (ie. tenant/lessee is not with a debt collection agency, cheques are correct ect)
·Posting bank statement to system including cheques as above
·Posting card payments
·Adding new supplier/landlord/property/tenant details/notes on computer system
·Raise adhoc charges onto tenants/lessees
·Processing payments to suppliers and owners
·Processing and checking supplier invoices
·Reconciling reports for bank statements
·Checking service charge reports
·Producing reports for Property Managers as required
·Helping to collate statements for owners
·Dealing with telephone/email enquiries
·Taking payments from customers in office
·Taking card payments in office and over the phone
·Produce and check invoices to tenants and lessees
·Process charges tenants/lessees
·Raise charges to tenants/lessees
·Chase arrears on tenants/lessees
·Other ad hoc duties as required
The hours of work are 9.00 am - 5.30 pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch
Holidays - 22 days plus 3 days at Xmas for shut down (plus usual stat days)
Discretionary staff bonus payment once a year depending on how business has performed

Good working environment and located close to High St , public car parking, station and bus station.
Will be reporting directly to Accounts Manager and would be next in line should that position become available or as business expands natural progression
