Assistant Accountant Temporary
To support a very busy period of time our client is looking for an all-round Assistant Accountant to hit the ground running and support the FD.
Initially for a period of 4 weeks they offer total flexibility and require a person as soon as possible.
This SME is located in state of the art offices and has a friendly, supportive environment.
Duties will include
- Accounting entries using Sage
- Payroll entry and checking for outsourced bureau
- TB and accounts production, consolidation of overseas subsidiary
- Purchase ledger, including invoices, expenses & payments
- Sales Ledger
- VAT - completing and supporting return calculations
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly Journals, accruals and prepayments
- Analysis - expenditure breakdowns
You will need good numeracy and attention to detail. The ability to work in a fast moving flexible environment with excellent communication skills in a small team.
