As a key member of the finance team, you will support the Financial Controller and Finance Director in ensuring that accurate financial records are maintained and financial transactions are promptly and accurately processed. Specifically this will involve: Assisting with the preparation of timely and accurate management accounts; Reporting revenue through reconciliation of a high volume of transactions via Excel; Working with the purchase ledger clerks to maintain a well-organised ledger; Monthly reconciliation of sales and cash received, investigating any unusual items; Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations; Reporting on stock movements and stock analysis; Liaising with the warehouse team to resolve any invoicing queries and discrepancies; Assisting the Financial Controller with reporting on stock purchases and purchase prices to report into the purchasing team; Providing financial information to the business and completing ad-hoc financial and business projects.
You will ideally have experience and an appreciation of working in a fast paced, high volume business, with a good knowledge of Excel. This will best suit candidates who possess a "Can-do", hands-on approach, with tenacity and a strong desire to develop and excel in a dynamic, commercial environment.
