About The Business:
This brand is steeped in rich heritage and forms part of an impressive portfolio of offerings from a major global business, focused on innovation and flair in the interior design and homecare market. They’re entering the market ambitiously, stocked in over 250 major brand stores in the UK, they’re now moving into the next phase of growth encompassing “brand experience” stores and creating presence with professional Interior Designers and premium decorating / home style professionals.
About The Opportunity:
- Sales Executive - Interior Design
- £30,000 - £35,000 plus company car, commission & benefits
With one of the new and exclusive Brand experience stores as your base, you’ll grow a deep understanding of the local Interior Design, decorating and home styling trade market, and learn who the key movers and shakers are.
With support from some national advertising and PR programmes, you’ll develop relationships with these key customers, helping to educate them on the extensive, customisable and unique products that this premium consumer brand has to offer.
Ultimately you’ll cultivate these relationships to create a burgeoning sales pipeline with the trade, becoming synonymous with style and high quality product.
You’ll use the tools and space available to you to think and develop business creatively, from running educational product “workshops” in the branded space as well as hosting events that are in the professional and consumer interest.
It’s an exciting and really quite unique sales position.
You’ll need to be a proven sales professional, adept at spotting and nurturing new business opportunities, combined with providing excellent service for an established account base.
Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of the Interiors / home styling / decoration market, either from a professional background or personal passion.
You could also be from an FMCG sales background in home / gifting / style orientated products market to the retail / professional trade background.
You’ll also need to be able to demonstrate your sales ability in the B2B market and discuss a track record of success of achieving in a sales target based environment.
