Care Services Manager - Reigate - £55,000 + £6,000 PRP

An excellent opportunity to join a fantastic care company that aims to provide their residents with the highest possible quality of life, in terms of both luxurious homely accommodation with discreet care and support when needed, all delivered within exquisite purpose-built homes.

Based in a brand new care home comprised of luxury private apartments, the Nurse Care Manager will:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, ensuring that residents receive care in line with their personal care plan
  • Facilitate resident care meetings with families and completing relevant resident assessments
  • Ensure that care plans are completed and updated in line with company policy
  • Ensure that all members of the care team have clear objectives and monitor objective progress through regular supervision and performance review meetings
  • Work closely with HR to ensure that all members of staff are effectively inducted into the company and receive ongoing training and development support required to meet legal requirements, perform well in their role and fulfil their potential
  • Provide mentoring and coaching support to develop individuals in their role
  • Ensure all registered nurses engage in professional development opportunities to improve and enhance practice, maintain their register and meet the rest of 'revalidation'
  • Carry out effective and timely recruitment to ensure the appropriate skill mix to maintain service to current and future residents
  • Be a role model for all staff and to ensure that a consistently high standard of care is provided

To succeed in this role, you will be:

  • A qualified nurse with a valid NMC PIN
  • An experienced and credible manager who will be key in the effective delivery of person-centred services to meet the identified needs of residents
  • An experienced team leader with an ability to engage and motivate others to deliver excellent care
  • Kind and caring with a passion for delivering the highest level of care at all times
  • Able to prioritise a workload and perform under pressure
  • Self-motivated and pro-active with the drive to learn and develop into the role
