The Company

Awarding winning and proactive insurance company with a prominent presence in the UK motor insurance sector are seeking to attract a MI Analyst to join the group in Cradley Heath.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop suite of established MI reports and data files to agreed timescales, with consideration of the most appropriate means of distribution (email, FTP, self-service etc.). You will also have responsibility for various data extracts and feeds to facilitate the fulfilment of manual products and also the delivery of data to third party systems
• Ensure all distributed MI and reporting is timely, consistent, meaningful and that high standards of quality and accuracy are maintained
• Aid with the analysis of MI and testing results with the specific objective of identifying pricing opportunities
• Meet client and internal requirements for ad-hoc reports, data and queries
• Continuously improve systems and data handling to remove manual processes and streamline working practices to drive efficiency in the MI team
• Communicate complex issues to business users at all levels, to explain what reports and data means in a way that can be understood by all
• Support the business with expert technical and data related knowledge
• Proactively identify processes for development and improvement

Key Skills
SQL Server Business Intelligence Developer with strong practical experience and confident communication skills.
Excellent time management skills
Highly supportive team member, willing to help out and encourage other people.
Self-motivated to achieve an expected level of work
Pays attention to detail and has a concern for quality at all times
Prioritises work to ensure team objectives are achieved
