A recent acquisition has created the need for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a reputable business that has a global presence in the travel and transport industry.

I placed an Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller at the business so I have a clear understanding of how the company operates and what great benefits and incentives they offer to staff.

This role is ideal for a confident and experienced individual who enjoys having full autonomy of a role whilst working for a business where the two directors operate with a friendly, open-door policy.

You job role will involve:

Processing all company purchase invoices
Supplier statement reconciliations
Preparing BACS payment runs
Matching all stock invoices to Purchase Orders and POD's and sending for authorisation
Raising queries and seeing through to resolution
Preparing Information for HMRC including EC Sales and intrastate reporting
Using Sage Line 50 on a daily basis
