Commercial Recoveries Paralegal
An excellent opportunity has become available for a strong LPC graduate to join the Commercial Recoveries and Litigation department of a leading Derby law firm.
The firm are not requiring any specific experience in relation to Litigation or Commercial Recoveries but a strong academic record and the ability to demonstrate commercial awareness is key.
This is a career defining opportunity for the successful candidate to join a firm which can offer career support and progression. The ability to secure a Training Contract within the firm is a realistic possibility once someone has proven their work ethic and commitment to the role.
Responsibilities will include but are not restricted to;
- Processing and assessing new instructions.
- Dealing with written correspondence (inbound and outbound).
- Dealing with inbound and outbound telephone calls.
- Preparing Court documents and dealing with all aspects of litigation.
- Knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocol.
- Drafting Court documents such as Applications and Witness Statements.
- Drafting Statutory Demands and Insolvency Petitions.
The department has a strong client base of high net worth businesses, therefore this is an excellent opportunity to build experience at a high level of litigation.
