Interim Public Affairs Officer
A health campaign.The Role
To lead on public affairs and influencing of parliamentarians on certain key projects.
To represent the charity external in order to further the campaign goals and to develop relationships with MPs and peers and to brief senior staff on political developments that affect the organisation.
To work cross-organisationally with staff to ensure that the campaign messages are consistent. And to look for opportunities in Whitehall, Westminster and in the devolved nations to advance the campaign.The Candidate
Excellent knowledge how to influence UK government policy directly and indirectly through other stakeholders.
An experienced organiser of events and a successful relationship builder.
Strong communications skills and able to represent the campaign strongly at meetings.
