Hays senior finance is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller within the South Gloucestershire area.

  • You will be reporting to the Financial Director.
  • Overseeing and managing the company accounts for 8 UK trading companies and 2 overseas companies.
  • Assisting the Finance Director in the smooth and efficient running of the finance department and providing financial and commercial support, input and challenge the business.

Your duties will include:

  • Consolidate monthly reports
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and cash flow
  • Prepare and manage relevant costing models
  • Maintain banking relationships and cash management requirements for all group companies
  • Prepare VAT returns, government statistics, P11Ds and auditors
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly information for management meetings
  • Provide commercial assistance to Department Heads and Operational Managers
  • Support with other ad-hoc projects and analysis as required

Suitable candidates will be:

  • Fully qualified Accountant
  • Ambitious
  • Progressive
  • And a good working knowledge of Sage 50 is desired
