Technical Support Consultant

Annual salary of up to £36,000


The role:

This organisation is an industry leading software provider with over two thirds of their staff in software development roles. Committed to maintaining and building their technology lead, they are making significant investments into research and development each year.

The successful candidate will work as part of the Technical Support team which is responsible for all aspects of supporting their products. As the Technical Support Consultant, you would be responsible for providing software support and training (including development of training material and running the courses) to their clients.

You'll definitely have:

  • Experience working in a software support role
  • Experience delivering software training to end users
  • Analysis of technical requirements, solving detailed technical problems and providing solutions
  • Strong client interaction skills
  • Excellent communication skills – you must be confident in developing and building relationships

You might even have:

  • Software development experience
  • Understanding of databases and networks
