Specialist (Actuarial Specialist (Finance Reporting: Retail WP Valuation)

  • Part qualified actuary
  • Recent exposure to financial reporting and actuarial modelling
    within a life insurance company
  • Basic knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and

  • Fully proficient with MS Excel & Word.

    obstacles based upon well-developed analytical skills.
  • Ability to pro-actively
    identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work within a team to progress multiple tasks with a
    high degree of accuracy and working to strict deadlines.

A new and
exciting opportunity has arisen for an Actuarial
Specialist based in Stirling within the Retail with-profits actuarial
valuation team.

The successful candidate will contribute to a large team made up
of qualified actuaries and actuarial students/technicians. The candidates main responsibilities will be
to report the value of liabilities and future profits emerging from
Prudential’s PruFund with-profits business.
Key responsibilities of the role include the production of internal and
external financial results for Solvency II, EEV and IFRS reporting and delivering those results in an accurate,
robust and well controlled manner within challenging deadlines.

You will also provide
support to a variety of projects across the group, helping Prudential to react
and respond to the key challenges facing the business.
