Your new role
They are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher who will also become the Curriculum Leader in this specialism. You must be confident in planning and delivering both key stage 3 and key stage 4 Maths and have proven ability of working with GCSE groups, as well as being able to effectively manage your time to effectively balance both planning and marking of relevant homework's. There also may be a requirement for you to teach some KS5 Maths.
What you'll need to succeed
If selected you will be expected to deliver lessons in a purposeful and focused manner, whilst maintaining an enjoyable learning environment in which to keep the students actively engaged. As the Maths teacher position is on a temporary basis (for 2 terms) it is essential candidates are able to work as part of a team in order to quickly and efficiently settle and work in partnership with other members of the Maths department.
