The Role:

You will be based within my clients' Quality Assurance department. You will join a growing team that are changing the way customer quality issues are identified, measured and prioritised. You will have a great opportunity to directly impact the quality performance for their customers.

You'll critically evaluate and present Initial Problem Definitions (IPDs) to the responsible Vehicle Line Diagnosis Engineers and ensure sufficient IPDs are created for Emerging Issues to achieve the Vehicle Line warranty performance targets.

You'll support the Vehicle Line Triage and VLQR meetings to ensure the robust handover of Warranty Improvement Projects to the responsible Project owners. You'll be supporting the development of the Detect and Define team whilst working closely with other areas of Quality Assurance and with significant external Partners to develop the capabilities of the team and the new operational processes.

Experience Needed:

Relevant experience in automotive engineering
Strong background in technical data analysis and knowledge of quality and warranty issues
Ability to evaluate problems through data analysis and present your findings to various stakeholders
Influence the Engineering, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality Teams to ensure any faults are corrected as early possible
Practical experience of vehicle systems and components to ensure meaningful IPD's, knowledge relating to quality and warranty systems
