Digital and UX Designer
A highly respected travel and tourism company are looking for a Digital and UX Designer to add to the team. This British holiday company have a had great history and have been successfully running holidays from their head office in Cheshire since the 1970s.
The company have sales operations in numerous European countries and are constantly moving forward in to the digital age. This exciting position will be working alongside the marketing and development teams to provide user experience improvements and to maximise online conversion rates for the company's website.
Once placed you will be integral to the development and delivery of the digital roadmap, producing creative designs and concepts to maximise online conversion rates whilst improving the customer experience. You will be expected to hit the ground running and offer up visually stunning yet practical interfaces. You will also be expected to demonstrate strong knowledge of UX design.
This role comes with numerous key responsibilities such as working through complex scenarios and creating simple customer journeys. Advocacy of a user-centric design process would be preferable.
You will participate in creative meetings and share ideas within a team environment, everything will be a collaborative project that is innovative and continually evolving as the company moves forwards in to the digital era.
Ideally you will have a basic understanding of prototyping tools such as Axure, Balsamiq or Omnigraffle however competent and experienced Digital Designers will still be looked at for this role rather than purely UX Designers. Previous experience working on an e-commerce website is essential.
If you are a UX designer with a proven record for increasing conversion rates for an e-commerce or booking website then the client are looking to pay up to 45,000, equally, this is dependent on experience.
