Required from February Half Term for a long term position in the first instance, a well-qualified and enthusiastic Sociology Teacher for a 'good' all girls secondary school and sixth form based in Romford. The successful candidate will join a well-established, supportive and successful department. You will be passionate about teaching Sociology and able to communicate enthusiasm and confidence to the pupils. You will be focused on the attainment of all pupils, have proven success at teaching across all abilities, and hold qualified teacher status (QTS). In addition, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice.
The department achieves impressive results and high levels of pupil progress at GCSE and A level. The timetable is likely to involve KS4 and KS5.
