Sewell Wallis are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to be responsible for the management of a small team within a fast paced and changing business. This is a business who are transitioning to become a much more efficient company.

This is an exciting time to join a business to be fully responsible for the Accounts Receivable function, where the successful candidate will dictate new credit procedures and policies in order to maintain a good cash position.

The job;

Establish and maintain best practice credit control techniques.
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with the insurance company.
Be the main point of contact with the invoice discounting facility and ensure the process is administered effectively.
Manage the team to collect cash owed to the Company by customers within the due date.s
Minimise overdue debt through timely and effective application of delinquency policy.
Monitor and review the credit worthiness of new and existing customers through appropriate credit checks.
Analyse debtor information for trends and changes to identify potential and actual risk
Provide regular and accurate debt and credit control information reports to high management on overdue debt.
Manage the credit team ensuring that team members are appropriately resourced, trained and empowered to act as an effective credit management service to the business.

The person;

Full management of a team of Credit Controllers within a demanding business.
Process improvement and change management.
Be able to build strong relationships with internal and external departments.
