Marketing Communications Manager B2C
Macildowie Marketing are working exclusively with an international business located in Leicestershire to recruit a B2C Marketing Communications Manager to represent an established product range well known for its quality and visual appeal within its market.
This person will have responsibility for defining the Marketing Communications strategy within their area of expertise and provide advice and support to the business on marketing communications. You will help to create compelling marketing communications to attract and retain customers and to build brand recognition.
The Marketing Communications Manager will be joining at an exciting time for the brand which is soon to launch a new website and interactive features to help customers visualise their products.
You will have two direct reports in this role which offers a truly varied opportunity covering online and offline marketing campaigns including brochures, events, POS and there will also be a focus on improving the way the brand communicates via social media.
-Develop, manage and implement the yearly Marketing Communications activities calendar and budget
-Brand management and supervising production of marketing literature, design and print services, advertising campaigns, e-comms, photo/video library, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, events and presentations
-Writes marketing communications materials and proofreads all marketing communications ahead of publishing
-Develops and manages constructive relationships and communication partnerships with internal and external stakeholders of the company
-Drives forward marketing and communications based on best practice and research; implements new communications channels and processes and where appropriate utilise innovative, creative and impactful ideas
-Supports and coordinates, together with the Digital Marketing team, online communication activity including websites, social media, marketing automation etc.
-Develop methods of understanding the customer, competitors and future trends within the industry and within marketing communications
-Establish, develop and review appropriate performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness of the function
-Proven track record creating, delivering and measuring high profile communications plans and developing Strong digital brand presence ideally within a B2C environment
-Experience managing a small team to inspire and achieve
-Demonstrate creativity, positivity and ability to converse at all levels of management
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Critical attention to detail
-Ability to work under pressure with a flexible and calm approach
-Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines/targets
