Our client are an independently owned travel company that has been operating locally for 80 years and currently employs in the region of 230 staff, half of which have been with the company for over 10 years - which is a testimony to how they treat their staff!
The head office for both companies moved to Cambourne Business Park in 2016 which presented an ideal opportunity to modernise the office space and open up the working environment which now boasts a ski lift, Tiki Beach Hut and a New York bar styled room with Netflix to name but a few of our new staff facilities!

The business is the tour operation side of the business which specialises in putting together bespoke tailor-made holidays to a wide range of destinations including the Channel Islands, Far East, Middle East, Southern Africa, Indian Ocean, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand which are sold largely through all Travel Agencies across the UK but also directly to the public.

The need additional help within their Finance Team

Duties to include;

· Day to day business banking
· Credit and debit card postings and reconciliations
· Production of travel agent statements and receipting monthly payments
· Credit control
· Adhoc finance duties

ABOUT YOU

· They are looking for someone who is conscientious, enjoys working with numbers, has an excellent eye for detail and likes working as part of a team. Key attributes you need for this role include:
· Numerical competence
· Good knowledge of Excel
· Prior knowledge of Sage is preferred but not essential
· Ideally some travel industry experience
· Experience in a similar role would be an advantage however, full training will be given for the right person
