Science Teacher - Role Specification:

Science Teachers who specialise in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics are welcome to apply. You must have QTS or be on track to obtaining this by September 2018 and be a passionate Scientist, keen to pass on your excellent subject knowledge to future generations. You will be able to teach Science up to KS4 with the potential to teach your subject specialism at KS5 level.

You will be a confident communicator who strives to achieve great results, not only of yourself but of your students also. You will be able to work cohesively as part of a collaborative department, where you can share ideas and resources amongst fellow Science Teachers.

This Science Department has a strong focus on teamwork and striving to achieve results as an individual, but as a team too.

As a successful Science Teacher you will be able to learn from other Science Teachers by taking on constructive feedback and reflecting on your own teaching in order to continually improve. You will be open to training opportunities and relish the ability, at this fantastic school, to have access to a wide network of CPD and training facilities.
