Are you an excellent communicator? Are you good at building relationships in the pursuit of excellent service delivery? Do you thrive in a high pressure environment? If this sounds like you then please read on….
As a result of being awarded a new service in Luton we are looking to recruit a Talking Therapies Operations Manager to join us to operationally manage the delivery of the service. This will be a flagship service which provides an integrated physical and emotional health service for clients.
We will be providing Step 2 and Step 3 therapies to people with a variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, phobias and post traumatic stress disorder to name a few.
Turning Point is a national health and social care organisation, providing specialist and integrated services which focus on improving lives and communities across mental health, learning disability, substance misuse, primary care, the criminal justice system and employment.
What skills and qualities do I need to have?
A strong, assertive manager with good leadership qualities, you'll be familiar with BACP reporting structures and have the necessary experience to implement change as the service grows and adapts ensuring the service is delivered to the highest possible standards.
Ideally you will have experience of managing a team of practitioners and/or a background in mental health together with a driving licence and use of a car. Either way you’ll have an excellent understanding of psychological interventions for people with common mental health difficulties.
As well as leading and co-ordinating a team of BACP and BABCP registered and accredited therapists, you'll get to work closely with the clinical team as you contribute to the planning of care and responding to ever-changing client needs. Within this role, it will be crucial for you to stay abreast of new developments in service delivery and use your initiative to explore new opportunities.
What does Turning Point offer in return?
