As Finance Administrator & Marketing Support your primary job role is to support the administration of the Group finance function. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be supporting the timely delivery of the Company's monthly financial results and assist in the operating and managing of the finance systems, processes and controls.

You will also support the Group HR function, with specific responsibilities as defined below and to provide assistance in some of the marketing activities of the Company.

Within your Finance Administrator & Marketing Support role you will need to work cohesively alongside other team members to ensure the effective control and smooth running of the business.

Your Finance Administrator & Marketing Support Responsibilities:

Finance - Primary Job Role

  • Maintain the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT returns
  • Assist with production of P&L and cash flow analysis for the Finance Manager to report that
  • the business is working to approved standards and maintains timely reporting
  • Assist with the monthly financial reports
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly board packs
  • Maintain the cash flow analysis on a daily basis
  • Maintain document filing system supporting the production of the financial reports
  • Assist with finance processes and controls
  • Ensure knowledge is shared in order deputise for the Finance Manager and vice versa
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of the group payroll function
  • Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of employee systems, changes to terms and contracts and other HR areas as set out from time to time

Marketing Assistance

  • Management and daily monitoring of the LinkedIn and Twitter accounts
  • Maintain the activity logs for the Company website and social media accounts and analyse the trends
  • Liaison with the Company's marketing advisors in respect of the production of Eshots, corporate literature and branding projects
  • Posting Eshots to the LinkedIn and Twitter accounts
  • Attend marketing strategy meetings
  • Assist in the organising of conferences and corporate presentations

Your Qualifications Needed To Fulfil The Role:

  • Good working knowledge of Sage 50 accounts system
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular Excel - be able to create and use ad-hoc analysis sheets
  • 2-3 years' experience in general finance
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail in both data input and analysis
  • Maintain high levels of self-motivation, be able to work on own initiatives or as part of a team
  • Build and nurture excellent working relationships with colleagues
  • Have an aptitude for all aspects of social media
