The Interquest Group are actively looking to hire a Technical Configuration Analyst to join a busy Integration Services team. This role will combine the elements of best practice software development with continuous Middleware infrastructure project initiatives ie MTF config'.

Based a very short distance from the new Cannon St development, you will be joining a highly motivated and forward thinking Integration Services team all looking to make good quality change contributions to the middleware Infrastructure environment.

The team support and develop the clients middleware infrastructure and have recently taken on responsibility for the configuration of data flows using the GA MFT solution, therefore the successful candidate will have previous experience developing and supporting significant IT applications.

The core responsibilities are as follows:

On a daily basis you'll be utilising your technical and business experience to support the clients production and UAT middleware systems.

As part of the wider team you'll be able to deliver high quality software components and documentation which conform to Integration Services guidelines and standards.

Help to evaluate business requirements and produce estimates, solutions and functional specifications for the development of change requests as part of scheduled maintenance releases and standalone changes.

Be instrumental in knowledge share, help contribute to technical discussions and assist other team members when necessary.

Provide daily support of the clients operational live and UAT middleware systems and monitor performance and ensure full and rapid problem resolution.

As part of the team rota help provide out of hours support for operational systems.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills to secure an interview.

Full working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server, including the ability to install and upgrade software, script and manage configuration files on both.

You must have an excellent understanding of networks, network components and TCP/IP.

Competent knowledge of security principals, ie, public/private key architecture, SSL certificates & encryption, file transfer protocols 'FTP, SFTP & SSH'.

Must have experience developing application software using MQ and/or Oracle/SQL Server.

Have a good understanding and familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and different software development models.

Possess an understanding of technical architectures.

Have a level of software testing experience sufficient to take part in test activities including unit testing, system testing and user acceptance test support.

Have the ability to create concise, informative technical documentation.

Must have excellent communication skills as senior stakeholder liaison is required on a daily basis.

Have the ability to define and capture user requirements and to turn these into workable solutions across the wider business units.
