IT Support Technician
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a IT Support Technician for our client who is a leading supplier of products and services to customers worldwide. Our client believes strongly in growing their employees and providing excellent career opportunities.
This role is a helpdesk role dealing directly with customers and engineers providing first line technical support to systems customers.
Provide Technical Support to customer base via telephone, email and online tickets.
Provide on-going support and develop documentation for the Help Desk Team.
Project management of periodic system upgrades.
Provide information and guidance to station personnel in the proper support and maintenance of equipment.
Customer training of back office systems.
Maintain accurate and timely update of database
Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):
Good problem solving & troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to lead projects and provide status updates as required
Ability to work to tight deadline with a flexible and customer focused approach
Intermediate level of expertise in PC hardware and repair - Understanding and use of Windows Operating System, Windows Office products and Communications software
Knowledge of back office equipment
