Position: Sales Development Engineer

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: Competitive base salary with annual bonus + 7% Company contribution pension scheme

The role, Sales Development Engineer:

Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and determined Sales Development Engineer who will be responsible for expanding sales within a newly formed division.

The Sales Development Engineer will identify new business opportunities to expand sales of insulation & acoustic type products into OEM & FM clients in the Oil & Gas, power generation and commercial building service sectors.

Direct sales experience is not essential as full training will be given, but a good commercial understanding and demonstration of a tenacious attitude is necessary.

Key responsibilities for the Sales Development Engineer will include:

  • Key account management and strategic development
  • Up selling of products to existing clients and identifying new customers
  • Management & reporting of your own opportunity pipeline
  • Attending new business / account management/ technical clarification meetings
