Mechanical Sales Engineer - Industrial Fluid Controls
£35k - £45k Plus car/laptop/phone
The workplace base for this opportunity will depend on the location of your current site/business relationships within the Petrochemical, Waste Water and Oil and Gas sectors. It is anticipated you will then be home based with 60% of your time spent on customer sites with fortnightly sales meetings at the company's facility in Cornwall.
My client supplies engineered flow switches, valves, chambers and associated mechanical components for a wide range of fluid control and metering applications. Already they have a prestigious client list that includes Texaco, Shell, Alstom and Bombardier. Their products can be found in large fuel tanks, water filtration systems and process Skid packages.
This is a newly created position, the company's management have identified several product cross selling opportunities and are keen to build new revenue streams based on this and your existing industry knowledge and contacts. Likely candidates will be able to demonstrate;
- Good working knowledge of mechanical flow control products and applications
- Previous sales experience
- Solid call planning and time management credentials
If you are currently working in an internal position with a desire to progress to field sales then we'd like to hear from you. Equally you may be looking to add value in a smaller more nimble operation where your sales experience could quickly develop in to Account Management and Business Development.
