The Interquest Group are actively looking to hire a Middleware Developer to join a busy Integration Services team. This role will combine the elements of best practice software development with continuous Middleware development project initiatives.

Based near to Bank the City, you will be joining a highly motivated and forward thinking Integration Services team all looking to make good quality change contributions to the middleware development landscape

The team support and develop the clients middleware infrastructure and have recently taken on responsibility for the configuration of data flows using the GA MFT solution, therefore the successful candidate will have previous experience developing and supporting significant IT applications.

The core responsibilities are as follows:

On a daily basis you'll be utilising your technical and business experience to support the clients production and UAT middleware systems.

As part of the wider team you'll be able to deliver high quality software components and documentation which conform to Integration Services guidelines and standards.

Help to evaluate business requirements and produce estimates, solutions and functional specifications for the development of change requests as part of scheduled maintenance releases and standalone changes.

Be instrumental in knowledge share, help contribute to technical discussions and assist other team members when necessary.

Provide daily support of the clients operational live and UAT middleware systems and monitor performance and ensure full and rapid problem resolution.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills to secure an interview.

Must have a good understanding of file transfer methods, security protocols and certificate management.

Strong experience developing application software using IBM TX (8.4), IBM MQ (7.5)and/or Oracle/SQL Server.

Full understanding and familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and different software development models.

Strong awareness of complex technical architectures.

Be able to analyse business requirements and provide workable solutions across the wider business.

Demonstrate the desire and ability to seek up to date information from elsewhere and apply this in relation to design, development, support and management activities.

Have the ability to form relationships with business users and demonstrate an understanding of business processes.

Be experienced in Senior Stakeholder liaison and be able to capture user requirements.
