We are currently working with an exciting company based in Stoke-on-Trent who are to looking appoint an MI Developer on a FTC for 12 months initially. The salary on offer is £30,000 to £35,000.

Purpose of role:
*Provision of MI, Reporting and Data throughout the business and to external partners
*Technical advice around Data, MI and Reporting communicated to non-technical stakeholders (ranging from Team Leaders to Project Managers and Directors)
*Business Acquisition Support - new MI, Reporting and Data integrations, ongoing management of acquired systems
*Data Quality and Accuracy control - ensuring a one version of the truth view through all MI and Reporting by adhering to strict data governance and development frameworks
Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

*Develop necessary Data integrations, MI and Reports in conjunction with business and project needs using tools such as SQL (both on premises and in the cloud), SSIS, SSRS, Cognos, Alteryx and Tableau

*Complete and evidence full validation of MI and Reports to the core insurance systems ensuring accuracy

*Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on Industry developments & innovations. Encourage, support and coach other team members in their own development

*Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback

*Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality

*Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
