Our client, a large independent day and boarding school in Hertfordshire, are looking for a Data Manager to provide technical support and advice to teaching and support staff on the management and development of the School's MIS (iSAMS).

As the Data Manager, you will work closely with academic and support staff, plus the IT team, to ensure that an appropriate level of service is maintained for all users across the school sites, and any queries and information requests are dealt with as efficiently as possible.

A key aspect to this role is to champion the use of iSAMS within the school's population, and provide training and guidance to staff (both on a one-to-one or group basis) on the use of the system.
In addition, the ability to analyse the current use of the MIS and suggest ways in which processes can be improved is highly desirable.

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Previous experience managing a schools MIS (ideally iSAMS)
  • Excellent knowledge using Microsoft products, specifically Word, Excel and Access
  • One to One and Group software training experience
  • Excellent capacity for communication
  • Good time management and the ability to prioritise and delegate where necessary
  • Applicants should be flexible in approach and be able to work independently

The following experience is also highly desirable:

  • SQL, SSRS and SSAS (although training will be provided if required)
  • SharePoint
  • IIS
  • Business analysis
  • Project management (or knowledge of the full project lifecycle)

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

If you feel you have the required knowledge and experience and would like to apply for this role, then please send your CV to ***********************
