Investment Administrator - Partner Practice
Location: Kingsway London
Salary: £35k to £45k per annum plus bonus.
Hours: Full time
An excellent opportunity for a professional Investment Administrator to work for a successful Principal Partner within a St. James’s Place Wealth Management - Partner Practice which is based in Kingsway, London.
You will be part of a fast paced team managing the work generated by the Partner and offering support as required. This business is well established and highly successful. You will be employed by the Practice.
St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base.
The Role – Investment Administrator
You will be providing technical and administrative support to the team in the areas of Investments but also Trusts, and IHT while maintaining an excellent level of service to clients of the Practice.
You will have contact with clients, and it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
You will be responsible for business submission using bespoke software. You will need to ensure that business obtained is being processed in a timely way. You will be given full training on the IT systems if necessary.
The Person – Investment Administrator
This is an interesting role that would suit a confident, numerate and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a ‘can do’ working style.
You will have been working in Financial Services for several years and have good all round knowledge which you are looking to expand and develop. A good grounding and understanding of investment related products is important and a working knowledge of Trusts, IHT and Pension terminology would also be useful.
You have excellent communication skills and are highly organised. You are a self-starter and able to work with little or no supervision. You can make decisions.
It is essential that as an Investment Administrator you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion. A relevant qualification such as the FPC or progress towards the Level 4 Diploma would be an advantage but is not essential for this role.
Confidentiality relating to all aspects of the business is a requirement for all staff in the Practice.
