My market leading client is seeking Graduate .NET Developers to join their growing team and support the development of IT systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Developer, or Junior Developer with at least 6-12 months development experience (commercial or a University placement) who is passionate about forging a career in Software/.NET development.

You will be involved in writing quality and maintainable code and will carry out unit testing from technical specs; contribute to the development of technical specifications; provide estimates and ship dates for work; maintain existing business applications; working with the Development Manager to keep track of all projects (highlighting any issues in relation to project slippages).

You will be comfortable working within a team or as a sole developer on any given piece of work/project.

You will need to have the following technical/development skills and experience:

  • Technical knowledge of software development and the full development life cycle
  • At least 6-12 months experience of Web & Windows .NET framework development using C# and SQL Server.

Any exposure to any of the following is highly desirable - VB/VBA, IIS, Version Control, XML and Unit Testing, Linux, XUnit/NUnit, ServiceStack/Web API, SOAP or REST, JSON, JSV, Rabbit MQ, Messaging, Software Configuration Management, Productivity & quality features within Visual Studio. If you have experience of working in an Agile environment, this would be advantageous.
