The Role - Medical Field Service Engineer (Biomedical / Clinical Systems)
Following planned expansion, they now seek to recruit a technically focused Medical Field Service Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service and repair of their range of technologically innovative patient ventilators, patient monitors, endoscopy systems, critical care systems, ultrasound equipment and anaesthesia delivery systems, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
Your Background - Medical Field Service Engineer (Biomedical / Clinical Systems)
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate a background in field service or biomedical engineering, gained within an electronic high value capital equipment environment. Applications are welcome from engineers with a broad range of backgrounds, including all areas of the medical device sector, biomedical equipment, laboratory and scientific systems, semiconductor, printing systems and pre-press equipment, defence, radar and ex Forces Engineers, as well as other electronic equipment backgrounds.
Medical Engineers already working in this sector, including those working with patient monitoring and critical care, biomedical engineering, ultrasound and medical imaging, laboratory instrumentation, medical diagnostics and clinical chemistry, ex Armed Forces Medical Engineers and 'in house' NHS EBME / MTO's currently working in a site based capacity in hospitals, are also encouraged to apply. You might be an experienced NHS Medical Engineer seeking the opportunity to break into a field service environment or a Field Service Engineer seeking further training, an increase in remuneration, an enhanced benefits package, and the opportunity to progress within a market leading organisation offering genuine opportunities for career advancement. A technical qualification is preferred, ideally to a minimum of HNC in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a medical related discipline.
